Asante Kotoko goalkeeper Joseph Addo insists he is not threatened by the arrival of Eric Ofori Antwi.

The ex Ghana U20 star gas sealed a move to the Premier League champions from relegated Amidaus Professionals.

Antwi was thought to have signed for Inter Allies but the move collapsed – paving the way for Asante Kotoko to secure his future.

His arrival will definitely heat up competition for the first choice goalkeeping position in the coming season.

And Addo who arrived kept a lot of games for the Porcupine Warriors despite arriving just last season says is adamant he is not threatened by Antwi’s arrival.

“I know him very well and he is welcome to Kotoko,” he told Metro FM.

“If he gets the nod ahead of me, I will support and give him my advice.”
