Ghanaian champions Asante Kotoko have been boosted by the arrival of Burkinabe goalkeeper Abdoulaye Soulama for their CAF Champions League preliminary round tie against Sony Ela Nguema.
The 33-year-old is expected to arrive in Kumasi on Saturday morning after touching down in Accra on Friday night.
Soulama, who played a role in 2013 AFCON silver medalists Burkina Faso, will be key for the Porcupine Warriors due to his vast experience on the African continent.
Kotoko are hoping to announce their return to continental action with a momentus win against the Equatoriaguinean Premier League title holders on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
On loan Ebusua Dwarfs defender Rashid Sumaila who signed a long-term deal with South African PSL side Mamelodi Sundowns has also joined his team-mates in camp.
