Asante Kotoko drew 2-2 at Heart of Lions in an outstanding Ghana Premier League fixture but returned to second place.
Nathaniel Asamoah opened the scoring on two minutes from a goal-mouth melee but Lions equalized in the 53rd minute.
Asamoah grabbed to double to register his season’s 13th goal but Lions responded again with the leveller.
Kotoko are now tied on points with AshantiGold on 42 points but have superior goal difference.
At the Dormaa Ahenkro Park, defending champions Aduana Stars were beaten 1-2 to New Edubiase United.
Both matches were rained-off yesterday.

Ghanasoccernet gives fake news that is why people stop reading news here
Well mate, I have been following this forum very well and I can tell you it started getting dry when the compulsory registration was introduced. Ghsoccernet erred to assume that was the way to go. This is a football forum and not a political forum. Hopefully, the fun will be back!
Brethren I think 2-2 is not a bad result but my fears was the way Lions mounted pressure on us. I don’t know why we should sit down for Lions to dominate the game through out the 90 minutes. For Amoako the least said about him the better.
i agree with you Joe,Amoako should back up or else he would not get things easy next season.
Who is saying that ghanasoccernet gives fake news. Please recheck ur books cos its a false allegation.
Oh Ghana Soccer net! What is the frustration about this news report. Hmmm a journalistic instincts indeed.
