All is now set for the implementation of a partnership agreement signed between Asante Kotoko and Sunderland.
This follows the official joint-signing of the implementation document on Wednesday.
Executive Chairman of Kotoko Dr. K.K Sarpong signed on behalf of the Ghanaian giants while Sunderlandââ¬â¢s CEO Ms. Margaret Bryne did same for the English Premiership outfit.
The agreement will see both parties explore various opportunities of mutual interests; Kotoko will benefit from the coaching, medical and administrative exchange programs while Sunderland will benefit through the signing of players who excel during trials.
The possibility of a friendly match between the two sides is also reported to have been captured in the agreement but no official announcement has yet been made to that effect.
