Kotoko departs for Equatorial Guinea on Wednesday

Posted On Monday, 25th February 2013

Kotoko will fly out to Equatorial Guinea on Wednesday

Kotoko will travel to Equatorial Guinea on Wednesday ahead of their return leg of the CAF Champions League against Sony ela Nguema this weekend.

The Porcupine Warriors have almost secured their qualification to the next stage of the competition after thrashing their opponent 7-0 in the first leg encounter at the Baba Yara stadium.

Kotoko were however given reality check when they laboured to draw 3-3 against Liberty Professionals in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

The Ghanaian champions could be without midfielder Michael Anaba and second-choice goalkeeper Felix Annan for the return leg.

The duo are expected to fly out with the national under-20 team on a training tour of Spain this week in preparations for the 2013 African Youth Championship in Algeria.
