Ex-Hearts of Oak striker Awudu Adama says the Phobians are playing second fiddle to rivals Asante Kotoko despite signing experience coach Herbert Addo.

Adama, also a former Kotoko player, believes the Porcupine Warriors look a formidable side than the Rainbow club.

Kotoko beat Hearts of Oak at home and earned a draw in Accra when the two sides met in September in a pre-season friendly.

“I still follow Hearts of Oak even though I played for Kotoko too,” Adama told GHANASoccernet.com

“I feel at the moment Kotoko are the best team in Ghana and even though Hearts have signed a good coach in Herbert Addo, I still think Kotoko are better side.”

Adama joined Hearts in 2002 after placing second in the goal king race to Ishmael Addo the previous season.
