Kotoko’s low scoring rate at the start of the season is of no concern to team manager Godwin Ablordey.

The Porcupine Warriors have scored only six goals in five matches and conceded one.

They have so far  scored a goal per match against Hearts, New Edubiase, All Stars and Inter Allies and only managed to bag in two against Aduana Stars.

But the club’s team manager and former captain Godwin Ablordey is not worried with the lack of many goals so far in the season.

“I am not bothered at all because we’re not scoring as many goals as possible,” Ablordey said

“What is important is the three points. What is the point if you score three goals in a match and end up either drawing or losing?

“Even if we score just a goal in each of the matches and make sure we don’t concede we’re fine with it.

“We want to win all our matches. That is where the focus lie. We’re not concerned about how many goals we have to score. We just must not concede."

Kotoko will next host struggling Hasaacas in a rescheduled fixture on Thursday October 17.
