Kotoko coach wants undying fans support for team

Asante Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani has called on the fans to keep supporting the team especially in difficult times.

The champions resume the defence of their Premier League crown this Sunday against Liberty Professionals.

Kotoko however struggled to win games during the first half of the season.

The side however started the campaign in the CAF Champions League with a 7-0 thrashing of Sony Nguema to revive the waning confidence in its supporters.

Coach Dramani has now asked the fans to be resolute in their support of the team for tough times ahead.

“I still want them to support the side despite the difficulties,” he said.

“Our aim is to try to debvelop and bring our expertise to bear to push the club to the level everybody wants.

“We want to play good and quality football but sometimes the goals just don’t come.

“But I will urge the supporters to keep supporting the side during moments of difficulties.”

Kotoko will be looking to climb further the Premier League log with a win over Liberty on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors are currently third with 26 points – four adrift leaders Medeama SC.
