Asante Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani has welcomed the arrival of Rashid Sumaila saying he will add the needed quality to his side.

Sumaila has arrived in the country after agreeing a season long loan move with the Ghanaian champions in a bid to revive his career.

The 2014 World Cup defender is yet to play competitive football kick a ball since June after failing to land a purported move abroad from South African side Mamelodi Sundowns.

“He is a player we know very well from his days here and we all know why he is coming back,” Dramani told GHANASoccernet.com

“His quality is not in doubt and we are happy to be having him.”
