Kotoko has ruled out move for Mahatma Otoo
By Patrick Akoto
Asante Kotoko coach Maxwell Konadu says they won’t be competing for Hearts striker Mahatma Otoo.
Otoo has been linked with a move to the Premier League Champions and a reported number of unnamed Europeans side believed to be interested in his services.
The Porcupine Warriors tabled a shocking bid for Otoo last week, after he was identified as the man capable of leading their attack ahead of their return to the CAF Champions League next season.
But after Hearts flatly refused their quest, the Kumasi-based have decided to let the matter rest.
“W wrote to Hearts for the services of Mahatma Otoo and they told us they were not interested because he was still under contract,” head coach Konadu said
“That I believe should end the story. We have to move on.”
its good you have stop dreaming about such a move.
but hearts will still persue the players it has express interest in kotoko.
Is maxwell still the coach?
Oh Ghana, when would we learn, the Black Stars assistant coach role is now a part time job. Instead of Maxwell by now assisting Akwasi Appiah to succeed, he is now coach still coach of Kotoko. anyway, i dnt blame him, but the usual GFA who always fail to plan well
@Kojo,even the GFA president works on part time.
Konadu should choose bn de stars n kotoko,he cant take us for a joke.
Tell me is maxwell still a coach
mahatma otoo came 2 meet kotoko so if hearts officials are not ready 2 give him 2 kotoko let de matter die.WE HAVE BETTER PLAYERS OUT THERE.
Maxwell is not working part time for Ghana but he is still Kotoko coach cos our new signing coach is supposed to lead the females team to the U17 tournament n Max will resign when da man come nxt month or so
