Kotoko coach Dramani satisfied with team's performance

Asante Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani

Asante Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani says he is satisfied with his team’s output after the first round of the Ghana Premier League.

The champions are third in the top flight haven amassed 26 points after 15 games.

Kotoko now find themselves four points adrift leaders Medeama SC haven dropped several points to drawn games.

Coach Dramani however says his team has generally done well with his only concern being the side’s inability to score more goals from the numerous chances they create in matches.

“We have 15 matches more to play and I am very happy with how we ended the first round,” he said.

“The high point is that we have been able to build a team and we have a pattern and are able to play well.

“The low point will be our failure to convert the numerous opportunities we create in games.

“But this is a challenge we hope to get sorted before the second round resumes.”

  2. simon baghdad says:

I THINK IT IS HIGH TIME SOME BODY EXPLAINS TO THIS COACH THAT WITH THE CURRENT MATERIALS AT HIS DISPOSAL, THIS IS NOT THE BEST PERFORMANCE FOR KOTOKO. IN AS MUCH AS WE SAY THE COACH HAS PERFORMED BELOW AVEARAGE AND DR. SARPONG MUST RESPOND TO THIS. I DONT ADVOCATE FOR THE DISMISSAL OF THE COACH BUT A REPRIMAND THAT WHAT HE IS DOING IS NOT ENOUGH TO WARRANT HIM AS THE HEAD COACH OF KOTOKO. IN THE FIRST PLACE I DONT SEE WHY WE LET GO OF COACH MAXWELL WHEN HE COULD HAVE COMBINED HIS TWO JOBS FAIRLY AND SQUARELY AND I AM SURE WE WOULD HAVE HAD BETTER RESULTS. THE TEAM IS VERY INCONSISTENT, ALWAYS DISJOINTED AND LACKS BITE AS THE MIDFIELD IS NOT PERFORMING. I ASK ALL THROUGH LOVERS OF KOTOKO TO BACK MY APPEAL FOR THE SARPONG ADMINISTRATION TO SIT UP WITH THIS COACH. A WORD TO THE WISE.

  3. George Adjei says:

Seems the coach lacks big dreams and gets easily satisfied with just average performances. I think he must be counselled to change his mindset before he is axed sooner than later.

  4. Agenda says:
