Asante Kotoko coach Mas-Ud Dramani is already looking forward to his side’s next game after securing a huge win over arch rivals Hearts of Oak on Sunday.
Dramani masterminded his first ever win over the Phobians on his third attempt at the Accra Sports Stadium.
A 30th minute strike from Seidu Bancey was enough to secure a famous win for the champions at the home of their perennial rivals.
But coach Dramani has beat down the huge effect of the win – insisting he has put the Hearts game behind and looking forward to Kotoko’s next game.
“For us every game is very important, we don’t see this game to be too extraordinary,” Dramani said.
“We saw this game to be just a league game but we knew that once we win this game the confidence level of the team – not the players who played in today’s game but the entire team – was going to blossom.
“And once the confidence level is very high, it implies that even in the course of the competition once injuries come in and then you file in any new player he is going to keep it going.
“For us, every game is very important and I have just forgotten about this game and focusing on next week’s match.”
The win sees Kotoko extend their unbeaten start to their Premier league defence.
The Porcupine Warriors will next play New Edubiase in the Ghanaian top flight.
