Asante Kotoko Acting General Manager Opoku Nti has told the club’s supporters to disregard the media reports about their new signings for the season.

Local medial reports have suggested that the defending Ghana Premier League champions have signed six players and have transfer-listed six other players.

Ebusua Dwarfs striker Frederick Boateng and Berekum Chelsea duo Obed Owusu and Jackson Owusu are reported to have signed for the Porcupine Warriors.

“I can’t confirm that any of the stories you are telling me. They are all speculation. We have our recruitment programme on course. That is the assurance. When there is certainty, you will be the first to publish it,” Nti told www.asantekotokosc.com

“The fact that new players are spotted at Kotoko’s medicals site doesn’t mean they have been signed. The medicals are to ascertain their fitness level.”
