Posted On Thursday, 22nd November 2012

Kotoko signed the partnership agreement with Sunderland last year

Dr K.K Sarpong has left for the UK to continue with discussions over Asante Kotoko’s partnership agreement with Sunderland.

The champions signed a partnership deal with the English club over a wide range of sectors including areas of coaching, youth development and infrastructure.

The Kotoko chairman will be made to defend a list of proposed areas of the deal which will require the financial and logistical assistance of Sunderland.

“I am leaving to Sunderland soon for discussions over our agreement deal,” Dr Sarpong told Angel FM.

“There (Sunderland) had us present to them a wish list and that is what I will be going to discuss with officials of Sunderland.”

Kotoko have commenced construction of a hostel facility for their youth side and will be looking to do same for the senior team in future.
