Kotoko CEO Opoku Nti's mandate extension reviewed
Opoku Nti will act as Kotoko CEO till the end of the season.

Asante Kotoko acting Chief Executive Opoku Nti has had his mandate extension reviewed and will now stay on still the end of the season, MTNFootball has reported.

The club legend was last month told by board of directors to continue until further notice but that was vague.

Nti felt insecure since that meant he could have been removed at anytime before the season ends.

He appealed to the board for clarity and the review of his extension was officially communicated to him before the New Year.

Nti,was appointed by the club's owner Otumfuo Osei Tutu II  to take charge of the day-to-day activities after the shock resignation of Dr KK Sarpong, who was Executive Board chairman, in July.

He guided Kotoko to the summit of the Ghana Premier League table after the first round with a seven-point lead.
