Asante Kotoko board member Akwasi Ziel is confident coach Mas-Ud Dramani will remain at the club despite reports of stalled talks over his future.

The Premier League champions are reportedly unwilling to meet improved terms to renew the contract of the ex Ghana national team trainer.

Dramani who has led Kotoko to two successive Premier League titles will be out of contract in August according to the club’s official newspaper, the Kotoko Express.

The club’s board have since been in deep discussions to extend the running out of contract of the coach with little success.

But board member Akwasi Ziel says the coach remains committed to staying put at Kotoko.

“There are no signals from the coach that he wants to leave the club in all the discussions we’ve had,” he told Metro FM.

“We are still engaging the coach in discussions and it has not come to a point where we have to ponder over his exit.

“Yes, we have a plan B in mind in the event things turn towards his departure but let me stress that we are not there yet.”
