Kotoko, Berekum Chelsea target Amos Frimpong leaves for FC Sheriff trial

BA Stars captain Amos Frimpong will leave Accra on Tuesday night to trial out at Moldovan side FC Sheriff, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

The right-back will be assessed by the technical handlers of the Tiraspol-based side for ten days.

His team were relegated from the just ended Ghana Premier League but his performances have linked him with giants Berekum Chelsea and Asante Kotoko.

"He's an excellent player and was spotted by scouts who were in the country recently. I know he is a good player and can meet the demands of European football," His agent Oliver Arthur told GHANAsoccernet.com.

Frimpong has been named in th 31-man squad picked for the Ghana Under-23 team to begin preparations for a final All Africa Games qualifer against Nigeria later this month.

The defender featured in 28 games for B.A Stars in the just ended season.
