Kotoko beat Deportivo 2-0 in a friendly on Wednesday

Kotoko continued their build up to Sunday’s Super Cup clash against New Edubiase with a 2-0 win over second-tier Deportivo.

Striker Nurudeen Ali scored the opening goal from Michael Anaba’s assist before Seidu Bancey sealed victory for the Porcupine Warriors at the Baba Yara stadium on Wednesday.

The Ghanaian league champions are putting the finishing touches ahead of the start of their title defence.

They will tackle FA cup holders New Edubiase on September 30 at the Baba Yara stadium.
