Kotoko beat BA Stars in a friendly on Sunday

Kotoko stepped up preparations for Sunday’s big game against Hearts with a 3-0  friendly win over BA Stars over the weekend.

The Porcupine Warriors drew first blood through striker Ransford Osei in the first half before Nurudeen Ali and Seidu Bancey scored the other two goals in the second half.

The game attracted huge numbers to the Sunyani Coronation Park as both teams entertained the crowd with some exciting end-to-end action.

Kotoko’s game against Hearts was postponed on Sunday after the Baba Yara stadium was hired for a religious event by the main opposition New Patriotic Party.

Kotoko will engage their bitter rivals in the country’s version of the ‘El Classico’ on November 18.
