Asante Kotoko are in discussion with the Premier League Board over how incurred cost through the postponement of their game against Liberty Professionals will be settled.
The champions arrived in Accra on Saturday afternoon ahead of their Week 15 clash against Liberty originally fixed to be played the following day at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The match was however called off due to security arrangements and other works being done in and around the stadium area ahead of the swearing in of President John Mahama on Monday.
Kotoko thus returned to Kumasi hours after the postponement was confirmed and will now return to Accra next Sunday to play the match.
The team is currently engaged in discussions with the Premier League Board as to how the extra cost over the double travel to Accra will be settled.
It appears according snippets of information filtering through that the discussions is geared more towards a cost sharing.
