Kotoko angry at Seidu Bancey's failed medical reports

Asante Kotoko have responded angrily to reports Seidu Bancey in particular has failed a medical with the side.

The Ebusua Dwarfs striker is widely reported to have failed an initial medical conducted in Kumasi with respect to a move to the Premier League champions.

Bancey is subsequently required according to the reports to travel to Accra to have further tests on a purported injury in his left leg which could be a major stumbling block in his move to Kmasi-based club.

But the Public and Supporter Relations Manager of Kotoko, Listowell Yesu Bukarson says these reports which according to him are sheer speculations smacks of unprofessional journalism.

“The reports that the boy (Bancey) failed medicals are tantamount to sheer speculations and therefore unsubstantiated,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“”Those unveriable media reports is an epitome of cheap journalistic scoops.

“The head of our medical team Dr. Kwaku Boateng is worried about those reports and is set to respond duly.

“Medical reports are very private and confidential, so how many media houses professes to have same and goes ahead to put it out is only a stab in the face of professional journalism.

“Bottom line is that Seidu Bancey, like any of the other players is still undergoing the intense medicals required of him.

“The media must know that a player medicals is a process and not a one off event.”

Stop throwing dust into the eyes of people. How long does it take do medicals. Are we saying that in this part of the world it takes one week to complete medicals? Please Bukarson should come again. There is nothing like intense medicals. Medicals is medicals period. Lets always say things the way they are and stop behaving as if others are so daft that they will swallow hook line and sinker every thing that is spewed out.
