Kotoko and its players fined US$ 7,000 for misconduct

Kotoko players have been fined for misconduct

Asante Kotoko and three of its players have been fined a total of US$ 7,000 after being found guilty of misconduct charges during their Glo Premier League match against Heart of Lions on October 21, 2012.

The Club were fined GH¢5,000.00 by the Disciplinary Committee under GFA Regulation 35 (4) for the actions of their supporters who held the match officials hostage on the field for five minutes during recess and an hour in their dressing room after the match at the Baba Yara Stadium.

Players, Soulama Abdoulaye, Kwabena Adusei and Ransford Osei were fined GH¢3,000.00 each for misconduct under GFA Regulation 35 (1) (a) and (b) for rusging ont he referee after the final whistle thereby inciting supporters to throw objects at the match officials.

    We’ve now seen the kind of people running our football.when Ayisoba kingston slapped someone at obuasi what did they do to him? When james abban insulted the refree after his red against dwarfs what happened? I was at the stadium when soulama n co humbly put their hands at their back n protested to the refree after the match and if this calls for a fine,then we will kill a refree for a ban.thank u
