Kotoko midfielder Jordan Opoku believes the return of the eight experienced players from the CHAN tournament will hand them a massive win against Barrack Young Controllers on Sunday.

The Porcupine Warriors have welcomed their stars back into the team as they prepare to face the Liberian champions in the preliminary qualifier of the CAF Champions League.

Opoku, who was among the players who featured for the home-based players at the continental tournament in South Africa,  is counting on his colleagues to put the Liberian to the sword.

“We had a good (CHAN) tournament and majority of the payers are from Kotoko so through this exposure in this competition, I think we have had the confidence and know the game,” Opoku told Accra-based Power FM

“I think for sure Kotoko is going to win (against BYC. We just have to keep our eyes on the ball.

“The fans should troop to the stadium in their numbers to support us because we’re going to give them a good game.”
