Konadu tips Kotoko to reign in Champions League

Coach Maxwell Konadu insists Asante Kotoko can do well in the Champions League but wants expectations to be managed.

The Porcupine Warriors were officially crowned Ghana Premier League champions for the 21st time on Sunday.

Kotoko thus returns to the continent's premier club competition after a three year absence and Konadu says the team is capable of clinching the title.

"I know Kotoko will do very well but we must take it one at a time so we don't disappoint," he told MTNFootball.com.

"We have a good team and if we prepare well and we are lucky I believe we can win it but like I said, expectations need to be managed."

Kotoko won the 2011/2012 Ghana Premier League title with four games to spare.
