Coach Maxwell Konadu id determined to write his name in the history books

By Ameenu Shardow

Coach Maxwell Konadu has reiterated his determination to qualify Ghana’s U-20 team to the African Youth Championship.

The Black Satellites left Accra early Wednesday morning for the second leg game of the final qualifier against Morocco.

Ghana holds a healthy 4-1 lead going into the second leg and will seal qualification with a positive result in Rabat.

Konadu is however well aware of the immense impact a successful U-20 team will have on Ghana football going into the future.

Many of the World conquering Black Satellites team in 2009 are part of the nucleus of the current Black Stars team.

And the ex Asante Kotoko coach says he wants to get to the finals to be hosted by Algeria next year as bad as any other Ghanaian.

“We need this qualification. It means a lot to everybody (self inclusive),” he told GHANAsoccernet.com

The Black Satellites are fighting to erase the massive disappointment meted Ghanaians with a group stage elimination from last year’s Championship in South Africa as defending champions.

  1. GH FUO, THINK BIG!!! says:

    “STYLE OF PLAY”
BARCELONA ARE NOTHIG EXTRAORDINARY. ALL THEY DO IS THIS…
EACH PLAYER IS LIMITED TO 2 AT MOST 3 TOUCHES ON THE FIELD. PASS, BREAK AND PASS ETC. THEY DO THIS THROUGHOUT THE GAME. THEY PASS THE BALL TO
WHOEVER IS ON THE LEFT, RIGHT OR INFRONT AS THEY ATTEMPT TO SCORE. THE ONLY TIME U SEE ANY BARCA PLAYER HOLDING THE BALL IS WHEN THEY R IN
THE 18 YARD BOX. WATCH THEM VERY CAREFULLY. THIS IS HOW THEY BEAT OPPONENTS. THE MINUTE AN OPPOSING PLAYER ATTEMPTS TO HOLD UNTO THE BALL, ITS
TAKEN AWAY IMMEDIATELY, AND THE CYCLE CONTINUES ALL OVER. THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO HOLD BALL POSSESSION.
WAT DO MEAN BY “STYLE OF PLAY” IN AFRICA? SPAIN HAS WON 2 EURO CUPS AND REIGNING WCUP CHAMPS WITH THIS STYLE. WOMP3 WEI NA WOP3 WHAT?
IM PROLLY SURE THE SPANIARDS COPIED THIS FROM THE BRASILIANS.
