In an interview with JOY Business, the General Manager of Capital View Hotel, Nana Antobre said the introduction of the 112-room facility was a purpose built one to meet a variety of needs.

From an existing nine-bedroom Starland Hotel, Capital View Hotel?s proprietor, Mr.
Kingsley Dwumor expanded it to build (the now) Capital View Hotel Annex, and then faced with increasing demand, the current 122-bedroom facility spotting banquet halls, 500-seater conference rooms, luxurious bedrooms and spacious parking lots was planned and built to service corporate and other needs.

The proximity of the Koforidua Municipality to Accra, coupled with the breathtaking drive through the Aburi and Larteh mountains provide ready motivations for settling on Koforidua for conferences or rest.
