Kingston to see out contract with Hearts

Posted On Thursday, 23rd February 2012

Laryea Kingston wants to finish his contract with Hearts of Oak

Midfielder Laryea Kingston has promised to see out his one-and-a half year contract with giants Hearts of Oak.

The experienced midfielder put up a man-of-the-match display on his return in the 1-0 win at Heart of Lions on Sunday.

It is being rumored that the former Heart of Midlothian player might be heading for Europe in the summer.

But the 30-year-old has moved to squash all that insisting he will respect the contract with the 20-time league champions.

”I have one and a half year contract with Hearts and I promise to play till it ends,” Kingston told Kumasi-based Fox FM.

His inclusion to the Hearts set up is likely to enhance Hearts title winning credentials.

Hearts are currently in second place and four points behind leaders and rivals Asante Kotoko.

”I have been telling my colleagues not to concentrate on Kotoko but take each match at a time because every point is important” he added.

Ghanasoccernet, why do you continue to show Laryer Kingston in jerseys of his former clubs when he is now a player of Accra Hearts of Oak and has a jersey with a number. He has even played a number of marches for Hearts of Oak and not in a jersey of his former clubs. I do not think He would have continue to appear in the phobia jersey on your website if he had moved to an European club.
I hope Kingston will really follow his word by playing for hearts till the end of his contract.
Bro Laryer, I wish you a successful spell with my darling club.
