Milan’s youth product Kingsley Boateng has admitted that he aspires to be like Alexandre Pato but is similar to his namesake Kevin-Prince Boateng in temperament.

The 18-year-old Ghanaian broke into the first team after netting a goal against Malmo in Milan’s preseason tour and is on the brink of pushing for a more permanent spot in the Milan set-up.

Talking to Milan Channel on Tuesday evening Boateng admitted that he aspires to be like his Brazilian teammate.

"I aspire to be like Pato, he is a great player and will soon prove his worth. My idol, though, is Prince Boateng, we are also very similar in temperament.”

Boateng also touched on the most famous African to don the Rossoneri shirt George Weah: “Of him I remember the wonder goal against Verona, where he ran through the whole field alone.

“I would love to be like him as well.”
