Son of owner of  King Faisal, Fawaz Ahmed Gruzah, wants to restore the fortunes of the club following their demotion to the country's second-tier League.

The London-based son of Alhaji Karim Gruzah,  a 2010 Graduate of the University of Cape Coast says he feels sad at the turn of events wants to put his energies in helping to transform the side.

"After coming out of the wilderness of Ghana football, I have carefully taken the decision of coming back from Macedonia to help the team find its lost glories", he said

"I know this decision will not go down well with some people but I have to take it for posterity's sake. Feeling sad", he lamented.

King Faisal painfully lost out after they were held to a 1-1 drawn game by Berekum Chelsea in the last round of matches at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Wednesday.

The could only managed to pick a paltry 38 points from 30 games, ending the season on 14th position.

They were joined by Cape Coast-based Ebusua Dwarfs and Tema-based Amidaus Professionals.
