Hasaaacas were beatn 2-0 by King Faisal on the final promotional play-offs

King Faisal were promoted to the Ghana Premier League after beating Hasaacas 2-0 in the replay of their promotional play-off on Friday.

Striker Prince Boateng grabbed the pair of goals for the Kumasi-based side who will return to the Ghana top-flight after only a year in the Division One League.

Both sides played out a 0-0 draw last Wednesday and as a result a rematch was needed to decide to complete the cast of the promoted sides.

Faisal’s promotion means the derby against Asante Kotoko will resume in the upcoming season.

Real Tamale United and Amidaeus Professionals were the teams promoted from Zone I and III respectively.
