King Faisal owner Alhaj Karim Grunzah is confident his side will make a quick return to the top-flight after they secured qualification to the promotional play-offs.

The Kumasi-based side thrashed Mine Stars 3-0 on Wednesday to pick the second slot in zone 2A to ensure qualification to the National Middle League.

The club struggled in the first half of the season and looked destined to maintain their lower ranks status until coach Stephen Bugri was appointed to salvage the situation.

He worked wonders and transformed the playing pattern of the side which ensured they went unbeaten in the second round.

The controversial bankroller of the club is adamant about their chances to return to the elite division next term.

“I keep on telling you people that we will return to the Premier League and this is just the beginning,” Grunzah said

“We’re very happy with what the technical team and the players have done so far and we will continue to encourage them,”

“Admittedly, the Middle League is not going to be easy, but I have trust and faith in my boys that they will make us proud,”

“We fear no team. The only in life that I fear is God. Apart from God, no one and so we are not bothered at all.”

Faisal were plunged from the top-flight last season after a difficult campaign but are determined to return in style.
