A depleted Hearts of Oak side managed to hold King Faisal to a 0-0 drawn tie in the First Capital Plus Ghana Premier League on Sunday.

Mohammed Polo's side was subjected to pressure by Faisal but they managed to escape with a point with Faisal missing a penalty.

Hearts went into the game with ten of their regulars missing with various degree of injuries but they still managed to hold their host to a goalless draw.

Faisal could have won the game mid-way through the second half when Robin Gnagne committed a foul inside the box but Ransford Kwakye crashed his effort into the crossbar with Philemon McCarthy beaten.

With Kotoko losing at Liberty, the Phobians have cut the points gap at the top to table to 11 points but Medeama are breathing down their neck with a game in hand.
