King Faisal bankroller Alhaji Karim Gruzah fears they could face liquidation before the season’s end.
The Kumasi-based side are on the verge of winding-up due to their precarious financial situation.
Faisal are among several Premier League sides who are struggling to survive following the failure of Premier League title sponsors, Globalcom to pay their outstanding arrears running into $7m.
The hardworking and veteran football owner says they will be obliged to cease trading when it becomes clear that no alternative sources of funding can be made available,” Gruzah said
“We are looking at all possible options for raising further revenues in the very short term but we realise there is only so much that can be realistically achieved.
“Unless something significant happens, there is a real possibility we may not be able to fulfill the season’s fixtures.”
Players of the cash-strapped side refused to train during pre-season due to monies owed them.
They have picked upa point from two games in the Ghanaian top-tier so far this season.
