Kevin-Prince Boateng has send a warm congratulatory message to the Black Stars at the Africa Cup of Nations

In what could spark hopes that Kevin-Prince Boateng wants a Ghana return, the midfielder has sent a warm congratulatory message to the Black Stars for defeating Mali at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.

The ex-Ghana international, who shockingly retired from the Black Stars two years ago without any provocation, clearly showed he follows the Ghana national team with keen interest.

As the young Black Stars squad fought very hard to defeat Mali 1-0 at the Africa Cup of Nations in South Africa on Thursday, Boateng watched their gutsy performance.

As the end of the game the Germany-born star took to social media to send his warmest congratulations to the boys representing Ghana in South Africa.

“Congratulations to the Black Stars of Ghana, good performance against Mali!,” Boateng tweeted.

Ghana are on the verge of qualifying for the quarter-finals of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations thanks to their performance against Mali.

Boateng retired from the Black Stars in November 2011, deciding to concentrate on his club duties claiming his journey to the national team affects his health.

He was lambasted by Ghanaians for his decision just one year after his inclusion in the Black Stars squad helped him to secure the lucrative move to AC Milan.

Despite the decision many still want him to return to play for Ghana, the country of his father.

His message to the Black Stars could spark hopes that he could return to the national team in future.

What is so special about this message? Did he say he want to come back? why do we exaggerate on everything? Please give this guy a break.
For your information, KPB started following Black Stars at very tender age, even bet his money on the team as a teenager.
Let’s stop this unnecessary stories about him, he is not the best Ghana player ever. If he want to come back, he will say it. KPB is not a coward to say his mind even if it’s offensive.

    • melody fm says:

We will launch an ‘anti KP return club’ against this twerp. your career fortunes are dwindling so you want to use the BS to relaunch it bcz another world cup is approaching. Your moda.

  2. lord Zee says:

Hmm I also tweeted congratulatory message to the Black stars why is mine not published?. Leta focus on the Black Stars and leave KPB alone. Players like KPB and Essien should not be welcomed back into
the Stars. We should only have those who are willing to die to honor the nation and leave out those that play for their personal interests. Well world cup is around the corner so he will be coming back soon. So will Essien but remember guys Ghana Black Star is bigger than any individual player. God bless GH

  3. JOE says:

TT or whateva your name is, Shut up and think….idiot

  4. Edward says:

Pls let not focus our atention on this guy to cause confusion in the stars at least for now. He chose to leave and so be it.

  7. Kweku Basabasa says:

Come on guy leave Essien out of this. He’s suffered two major injuries playing for Ghana. This time he asked not to be included because he’s joined a new club trying to resurrect his carrier.we must also show some concern. We shouldn’t be so demanding.Have you asked yourself why he lost his place in the Chelsea team?Don’t you think he has to show some grattitude to whoever is helping him secure a longterm deal at Madrid?

  8. Jaja says:

I predict that the line-up at World Cup in Brazil next year, will be super different form this Afcon’s lineup.
Players like Muntari, Essien, Prince, Dede Ayew, Jordan Ayew and Frimpong will all claim a starting spot. Let’s see if my prediction turns into truth…

  9. D LIGHT says:

One thing for sure is there wouldn’t be any Kwesi Appiah and Gyan in the Attack of the BS. They are too mediocre and amateurish to manage & spearhead our team. For Boateng, i can bet on his comeback. Bellarabi, Memphis Depay, Quincy, Affum and sure of all Elvis Manu, David Accam, Frank Acheampong &Edwin Gyasi wld be making a case for a breakthrough. But all these talents without a good coach and an Inspirational figure like DEDE means ZERO!

  10. Adanko says:

Jaja I think that can happen, you just named some good set of players.

  11. Adanko says:

    well siad Delight

  12. mmaapehia says:

  14. Olembe. says:

  15. olympio says:

we thank him for the message. but we don’t need u.

  16. idiami says:

At long ur so call gfa will call him cos they dnt think bt rada their stomach, nkwaseafo) akronfo)

  17. kpoku says:
