Kevin-Prince Boateng has admitted that leaving AC Milan so suddenly has left him with an ââ¬Ëopen woundââ¬â¢ and that the Rossoneriââ¬â¢s current form brings them to tears.
à The Ghanaian surprisingly left the San Siro outfit last summer for Shalke and admits that he remains a huge fan of the club, all while revealing that seeing his former teammates struggle in mid-table makes him sad.
"Milan for me is still an open wound," the Schalke attacking midfielder told Chi. "I watch all the games on TV and it brings me to tears to see their position in the standings.
"I wrote [new Milan coach Clarence] Seedorf a good luck message and I still hear from my former team-mates."
Clarence Seedorf has since taken over the head coach position at the club and Boateng remains confident the club will turn things around under the Dutchman.
"He is so strong that when he eventually takes full awareness of his ability, he will be the best in the world," the Ghana international encouraged.
