Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has wished a successful fasting period for his Muslim friends.

The AC Milan star sent the goodwill message after linking up with his club teammate Sulley Muntari who is a Muslim on their return to pre-season training earlier this week.

Boateng Tweeted: “To all my Moslem followers and friends #ramadanmubarak!!!”

Muslims all over the world are observing a 30-day fast as one of the five pillars of Islam.

Muslims are refrained from consuming food, drinking liquids, smoking and engaging in sexual activities while fasting during the holy month of Ramadan.

According to Islam, the thawab (rewards) of fasting are many, but in this month (Ramadan) they are believed to be multiplied.
