Breaking News: Kevin-Prince Boateng, Fatau return to Ghana's starting-up to face Germany tonight
Kevin-Prince Boateng has been returned to the starting line-up to face Germany

Ghana coach Kwesi Appiah has returned Kevin-Prince Boateng and goalkeeper Fatau Daudato the starting line-up to face Germany at the World Cup this evening as three changes have been made to the Black Stars starting team, GHANAsoccernet.com can reveal.

Defender Harrison Afful profits from the injury to defender Daniel Opare in a massive shake-up meant to give the Black Stars victory over the Europeans in Fortaleza.

Boateng was not in the starting line-up to play the USA on Monday but his second-half appearance showed that he deserves to start the match against the tough Germans.

This means Jordan Ayew has been left out of the starting team to make way for Boateng who was impressive when he came on the match against the Americans.

The fact that he was also born in Germany and has got a bit of a rivalry with the Europeans, Boateng could be forced by that fact to prove something extra-ordinary.

Dauda takes over the position of Adam Kwarasey even though the Norway-based keeper was not to be blamed for the two goals he conceded against the Americans but with a tough fight expected the latter's ruggedness makes him the suitable player that position.

Injury Opare who played at the right-back the last time means that Afful will take that position with the only disadvantage being his height but his surging forward and crosses are expected to aid the Ghana team.

Kwadwo Asamoah retains his place at left-back while John Boye and Jonathan Mensah will play at the heart of the defence with Rabiu Mohammed and Sulley Muntari expected to work hard in the centre of the midfield.

At the right win Atsu will be expected to operate from there while Andre Ayew will operate from the left side of the midfield with Asamoah Gyan playing as the lone striker with support from Boateng.

Ghana starting-line-up:

Fatau Dauda, Harrison Afful, Kwadwo Asamoah, Jonathan Mensah, John Boye, Rabiu Mohammed, Christian Atsu, Sulley Muntari,Kevin-Prince Boateng, Asamoah Gyan and Andre Ayew.
