Schalke 04 playmaker Kevin-Prince Boateng is predicting fireworks in Tuesday’s derby against Borussia Dortmund at the Signal-Iduna-Park.

The Ghana midfielder is expecting high quality football against his former side.

Dortmund lie above Schalke on the Bundesliga table with just one-point and victory for the visitors would see them topple them over.

“I hope that it will be a great festival of football, have all the fun and the fans cheer for their teams. Mutual chants and songs are part of the football to, but it should not go further,” Boateng said.

Boateng played half a year for Dortmund in 2009 and he says returning to the club is special feeling.

“For me, it is of course a special game, because I did not spend a long time in the stadium. It is now time the Derby and you know exactly what will happen there. It is hot - I look forward to it!

Schalke were 3-1 winners over Eintracht Braunschweig and Dortmund won 1-0 at Hannover 96.
