Kevin-Prince Boateng says AC Milan will be counting on the fans at the San Siro on Wednesday night against Barcelona in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 first leg tie.
The midfielder warmed up for the match by playing 65 minutes in the 2-1 win over Parma at the San Siro in the Italian Serie A last Saturday.
Milan will be seeking to avenge knockout defeats to Barcelona n the 2011/12 quarter-finals and 2005/06 semi-finals.
Boateng wrote on his official Twitter page: “Good morning tweeps! 2 days to the big game against #barca we will need all ure support Wednesday night!! #ForzaMilan see u in San Siro.”
His compatriot Sully Muntari lasted the entire duration in the win over Parma and should be ready to face the Spanish giants.
