Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has rued AC Milan's hard luck in Tuesday's Uefa Champions League goalless stalemate against Belgian champions Anderlecht  at the San Siro but insists they will bound back.

The Rossoneris failed to sparkle in their Group C tie against the Belgian giants at the San Siro with their attack looking blunt.

Milan created a scores of scoring opportunities but failed to go past Silvio Proto, the Anderlecht goalkeeper.

Retired Ghana midfield enforcer Kevin Boateng, who replaced after the hour mark for Massimiliano Allegri's side insists Milan outclassed their visitors but were unlucky on the field.

"Sometimes we’ve been missing a bit of luck in front of the goal but we think we can win the next game. It’s natural that the fans will be angry because we can do better than what we’ve shown, myself first of all." he told Uefa.com

Boateng reveals he was not fully-fit for the clash.

"In the changing room, we’re all calm. There’s quality in the squad and we all believe in this team.  I’m not at 100% and we’ll try to get better game after game”
