AC Milan have hired a professional bodyguard for midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng after the Ghana international complained of his safety.
The 25-year-old feels unsafe after he led AC Milan players to abandon a friendly game against minnows Pro Protia following racists chants by local fans at Busto Arsizio.
Renowned Italian bodyguard, Roberto Zanichelli, who has worked for famous Italian singer Fiorello has been hired to protect him.
Boateng fears there could be reactions from Pro Partia fans after he kicked the match ball into the section of the fans who directed racist chants at him.
Roberto Zanichelli will receive a monthly salary of €5,000.
