Ghana midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng put up an imperious display to score a stunning second-half hat-trick to help AC Milan beat Lecce 4-3 in the Italian Serie A on Sunday.

The 24-year-old came off the bench to draw Milan level after the Rossoneris conceded three goals in the first half.

Goals from Massimo Oddo, Guillermo Giacomazzi and Carlos Grossmüller put Lecce ahead.

Boateng blasted home a screaming drive from inside of the Lecce penalty area just four minutes after replacing Brazilian star Robinho and further cut the deficit to 3-2 with a 25 yards thunderous effort on 55 minutes.

Lecce goalkeeper Massimiliano Benassi failed to stop another powerful shot from the former Portsmouth star on the 63rd minute.

Milan piled the pressure and eventually sealed the victory through Mario Yepes who directed a strong header home from an Antonio Cassano cross.

Boateng scored a stunning goal in midweek when AC Milan beat Bate Borisov 2-0 at the San Siro in the Uefa Champions League.
