King Faisal owner Alhaji Karim Grusah says he will quit football if his loses his legal battle with Ghana Football Association over his demotion.

Grusah headed to court after his protest to have points deducted from Aduana Stars was squashed by the Disciplinary and Appeals Committees of the Ghana FA.

This has delayed the start of the Ghana Premier League and Grusah has rejected an out-of-court settlement deal.

Grusah has vowed to fight on and pursue his case to the bitter end.

“As for me, I am someone who believes in the rule of law and I believe that together we can make a Ghana football very strong and attractive,” Grusah said.

“I believe that the case I have presented to the court is a genuine one and like I said earlier, I am going to fight this case to its elastic limit.

“But in the event that I do all that and I lose, I will happily quit football and its related issues because I cannot be a part of a system where the truth, rules and regulations are twisted to suit the interest of other people.

“I have nothing to lose if I quit football because I am a businessman and do not make my living from the game.”

“Some of us just want to help make it very attractive to the outside world and if I don’t get that chance, the best thing I can do is to just leave it to those who feel they can do it better.”
