Ghanaian striker Kwame Amponsah-Karikari scored a goal and set-up another as Degerfors thrashed Värnamo 6-1 in the Swedish second-tier on Wednesday.

The former Ghana U20 striker was introduced after 72 minutes and put his name on the score sheet twelve minutes later.

The on-loan AIK Stockholm striker raced clear off his marker to volley home to make it 4-1.

He then tailored a neat pass for Jonas Olsson to register the last goal of the game in added time.

Karikari has scored twice in four games for Degerfors since joining them on loan at the start of the season.
