Juventus are losing sleep as to who to replace Ghana midfielder Kwadwo Asamoah.

The Italian champions have set their sights on young Spaniard Isco as cover for Asamoah who will be away for up to a month with the Black Stars at the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations.

The Malaga midfielder is one of at least three options being considered by manager Antonio Conte in the January transfer window.

The Bianconeri have profited immensely from the great form of Asamoah who arrived at the beginning of the season from Udinese.

The 23-year-old is however needed by his country this January as the Black Stars chase a fifth continental crown in South Africa.

This means Juventus will be without the ex Liberty Professionals player for up to a month if Ghana more likely makes it to the final stages of the competition that kicks off on January 19.

Conte however wants to ensure that all positions in his team are well strengthened for the hectic winter schedule hence the move for Isco.

But the highly rated midfielder might prove too expensive for Juventus especially as his club owned by Qatari billionaire are not desperate for cash.

In that case, the Italian champions will turn to Atletico Madrid’s Turkish sensation Arda Turan according to reports – giving the clearest indication on Juve’s sweat in replacing Asamoah.
