Joseph Ochaya scored his first goal for Asante Kotoko on Sunday

Ugandan defender Joseph Ochaya scored his first Asante Kotoko goal in their 2-0 win over Berekum Arsenals on Sunday.

The former Kampala City Council left-full back scored the insurance goal for the Porcupine Warriors after midfielder Michael Helegbe had given the home side a second half lead.

The victory will serve as real boost for Kotoko who had gone four matches without victory and desperately needed the maximum points to put their title defense back on track.

They have now jumped to 7th on the league table.
