Ghana midfielder Jordan Opoku picks Man-of-the-Match award against Ethiopia

Ghana captain Jordan Opoku was named man of the match in Tuesday’s 1-0 win over Ethiopia in the final Group C match at the African Nations Championship.

The midfielder’s industry and skills ensure the Local Black Stars earned a hard-fought win to stay top of Group C.

He becomes the third Ghana player to pick up the Man of the Match award during the Group phase.

Theophilus Anobaah was adjudged the best player when he scored the only goal in the 1-0 win

Striker Yahaya Mohammed was announced man of the match in the 1-1 draw with Libya.
