Jordan Opoku believes Asante Kotoko will extend their 100 per cent winning record against New Edubiase in their next Ghana Premier League match on Sunday.
The champions have made an impressive start to the season – winning all two games played so far in the Ghanaian top flight.
Kotoko were even more impressive in last week’s Super Clash win over rivals Hearts of Oak in Accra.
The Porcupine Warriors now have another tough match to play against Edubise who are still in search of their first win of the season.
But Kotoko midfielder Opoku can least be bothered by the poor record of their next opponent – insisting it is not their problem to see Edubiase wobble so far in the Ghanaian top flight.
“We are taking things match after match and now our focus is on New Edubiase,” he told Metro FM.
“They have lost their first match to Hearts and lost their second match too.
“So I reckon they will be hungry for a win against us but that’s not possible.
“Their problems are not our problems. We only look to improve on our game and win our games to take our team forward.”
