Jordan Ayew was on target on Sunday when Marseille’s winning run in Ligue 1 season came to an end in a 4-1 defeat at mid-table Valenciennes.

The 20-year-old scored the consolation for Marseille who had won their opening six matches.

Jordan had replaced his elder brother Andre in the 64th minute.

A double by much-travelled striker Anthony Le Taellec and one apiece from Foued Kadir – gifted to him by Marseille goalkeeper Steve Mandanda – and a brilliant opener by Gael Danic gave Valenciennes the points.

Its looks Jordan has found his scoring boots.For effective performance,AA should learn to use him in the 2nd half than starting our games.
