Striker Jordan Ayew has eschewed any sense of complacency in the Ghana team ahead of the 2013 Nations Cup qualifier against Malawi.

The Black Stars take on the Flames in the first leg encounter of the final 2013 AFCON qualifier at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday in a must win game.

Ghana needs to bang in the goals just like they did against Lesotho in the opening 2014 World Cup qualifier in June to ensure the return leg match is reduced to a mere formality.

But the Olympique Marseille forward is adamant there are no easy games – even with what eventually emerged a massive win over Lesotho.

“There are no longer any easy games, even Lesotho, it wasn’t easy at all,” he told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“If Sulley (Muntari) didn’t score the goal I think we will have had difficulties.

“Now everybody knows how to play football and the most important thing is to win the game and make everybody happy.”

The Black Stars will play an international friendly match three days after the Malawi qualifier against Liberia in Monrovia.
